Rev. Christopher Ray Graham, Sr. is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana and was born on March 1, 1986. He is the son of Richard E. Graham, Sr. and Minister Vanessa L. Bartlett and the stepson of Deacon James C. Bartlett. Rev. Graham comes from a lineage of pastors as he is the fifth generation to answer the call to serve. He grew up at Psalms Missionary Baptist Church and was baptized by his grandfather, Pastor Douglas D. Tate, Sr. at the age of seven. He was licensed to preach the gospel at fifteen under the leadership of his uncle, Pastor Douglas D. Tate, Jr.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.  Rev. Graham earned his Masters of Divinity degree in Pastoral Ministry at Wesley Seminary of Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. He does have plans to further his education by pursing his Doctorate in Ministry (D. Min).

Rev. Graham joined the Second Baptist Church in Bloomington, Indiana under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Bruce R. Rose. Rev. Graham gained many experiences and learned more about the pastoral ministry by sitting faithfully under Pastor Rose’s leadership. While faithfully serving the Second Baptist Church, Pastor Rose encouraged Rev. Graham to seek the pastorate. After much prayer and fasting, Rev. Graham was ordained in May of 2006 to prepare him for the pastoral ministry.

Rev. Graham’s prayer was answered when he received the call to pastor the Lost Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Terre Haute, Indiana. He became the youngest pastor in the state by becoming the church’s 20/20 pastor. Rev. Graham was 20 years old and ironically became the 20th pastor in the history of the church. The Lord led Rev. Graham to start and established New Birth Community Church in Terre Haute, Indiana with a slogan “A changed people are changing the world.”  Rev. Graham received the called to pastor the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana in March of 2018. Rev. Graham and his family are proud to serve the congregation and be a blessing to the community of Fort Wayne.

Rev. Graham married the former Aleshia Michelle Miles of Charleston, South Carolina on February 06, 2011. They have two daughters, Christian Mireya Graham born October 1, 2013, Alyssa Michelle Graham born February 1, 2015, and two sons, Christopher Ray Graham Jr. born July 3, 2016 and Caleb Richard Graham born April 18, 2020. God has truly blessed Rev. Graham and his family and it is their hope to be a blessing wherever they are allowed to serve.
