For Your Information

If a stranger sends you money via VENMO please do not do anything. There is a scam where strangers are sending innocent people money (usually from someone’s stolen card) and then they will ask you to send the money back to them. They will claim to have sent the money to you by accident appealing to your sense of right and wrong. Once you send them the money back they will withdraw your money and reverse the original transaction. The owner of the stolen card gets their money back, the thief gets your money and you are out of your money. Please remember that you were not expecting the money so do not accept it.
